WATCH: (Scroll Down) More protests are expected in Beirut after the recent unrest on the capital’s streets, with people demonstrating against the city’s waste disposal crisis. During the weekend, police deployed water cannon, rubber bullets and tear gas.
The protests have been going on since last week as to the closure of the Naameh landfill has led to thousands of tons of rubbished piling up on the streets of the city.
