During a Black Lives Matter conference over the weekend at Cleveland State University, students chanted parts of Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” while protesting against the police.
Police arrested a 14-year-old for reportedly being intoxicated and with many conference-goers demanding his release, a transit police officer pepper-sprayed the crowd.
Witnesses to the arrest claimed police officers slammed the boy to the floor, which led to groups of students gathering & chanting Kendrick’s lyrics for “Alright”.
