Passenger Attacked with Razor Blade on Plane at JFK Airport

NEW YORK — Six people were treated for exposure to pepper spray and two people were arrested after a fight broke out between passengers on a JetBlue flight at JFK airport Wednesday.

From PIX11: — “A female passenger seated in the window seat of row 21 tried to climb over another woman in the middle seat, according to Port Authority spokesman Joseph Pentangelo. The woman in the middle seat pushed her off, and the first woman allegedly punched her in the face.

A male passenger tried to break up the fight, but the woman seated by the window, identified by police as the suspect, took out an eyebrow razor and slashed him across the arm, according to police. The woman in the middle seat then allegedly pulled out a can of pepper spray and shot it in the suspect’s face.” —

The attacker was escorted from the plane and faces charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victim was charged with unlawful possession of tear gas.

Those affected with the pepper spray were treated by paramedics.
