READONG, Pa. — Reading PD: One of our K9’s was seriously injured when it fell 15′-20′ while assisting officers check the Sothwest middle school for possible intruders.
This happened on Friday 9/4/15 at about 8:15 PM. The K9 was medivac’d to Penn Vet in Philadelphia for internal bleeding.
UPDATE: Vet […] said K9 Cody made some improvements since he was brought to their facility, and she was optimistic. However, he’s not out of the woods yet; he’s still in their ICU.
