South African Billionaire Creates Back To Africa Movement Telling Black People To Leave America Now

SOUTH AFRICA (NEWSWATCH33) – Femi Adenugame, one of the world’s wealthiest Black men, has created the “Back To Africa” movement urging all Black Americans to leave the United States. According to reports, he is offering $1 Million, a home and car to every Black family who wants to come to South Africa.

With the recent media coverage exposing police brutality and racially motivated crimes against African-Americans, First, Last Name, has decided to put his fortune to what he believes is good use. He has created the “Back To Africa” movement in efforts to assist African-Americans in returning to their “motherland” and starting a fresh life. According to reports, Femi Adenugame has invested over $500 Million into the project. Adenugame owns 5 commercial 747 jets and a fleet of cruise ships which he plans to use to transport those who are interested in “returning” to Africa from the United States.

“I want to do something good with my money. I already do much for the people of South Africa and other nations in my continent. It’s time that I extend my wealth to my brothers and sisters in the United States. They are suffering from discrimination and racism without any real help from their government. I am urging all Black people in America to leave while this opportunity is available. I welcome you to your original home. I have sat back long enough, it is time for me to help,” said Adenugame.

Adenugame indicated that he got his idea from Marcus Garvey which encouraged those of African descent to return to the African homelands of their ancestors back in the 19th Century.

Adenugame has indicated that there are some requirements in order for interested individuals to be eligible. All interested individuals must be 18 years of age, they must have a passport or be able to obtain one legally, and they can not have a criminal background. Should an individual meet these requirements, they would be eligible to benefit from Adenugame’s Back to Africa plan.

The Back to Africa movement is set to officially launch in 2016.

  That’s not even true. You’re only denied a passport if you’re still on probation for certain offenses. Especially drug charges; they let you out early if you behave, but if you get so much as an unpaid traffic ticket during your probation of 2-5 years or so you go back. You’re technically still serving part of your sentence.

One of the requirements is that the applicant CANNOT have a criminal record. I think that is good. But why is he listed as a South African billionaire when I CANNOT locate him on the web. I found Africian with the first name but noot hte last name. I think this is a big joke. Why would anyone give Us $1 million dollars to relocate to the Motherland. I would not need that much of an incentive to get on the boat or jet. I only wish for a one way ticket and one year rent.

    Mike unfortunately I have to disagree with you because everyones has different experiences. Yes there are a lot of content and comfortable American Africans in the US, but here’s my story which is similar to many people I know. I have a BA in English and an MA in Higher Education. Despite my efforts the only job offers I have received are not in education and pay between $10-$13 an hour which is not enough to comfortably maintain a household. I have no criminal record and I already have my passport. There are lots of working people in this country who are hungry, struggling, and suffering. For myself personally I need help, and would greatly benefit from an opportunity like this. Even when I was employed by a Fortune 500 company with excellent pay and benefits I never considered myself a successful middle class citizen and I’ve never felt like a proud American.

  This is a hoax, South Africa has a zero immigration policy this year because of all the refugees traveling south from Sudan and Somalia. I have been there Central east Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Tanzania) and going back in November they want tourists but relocation is not tourist and they are really strict with visitor visas.

My African American friend sent me this with excitement, so I thought I’d post here for others to offer some insight. I have NEVER heard of a Femi Adenugame. Femi is a typical African name, Nigerian to be more precise, from the Yoruba tribe to be exact. Adenuga is equally a Yoruba name. Adenugame? Never heard of that name, not to say that it doesn’t exist, but as a Nigerian myself, chances are that I would have come across it by now.

Anyway, there is a Mike Adenuga that is actually a billionaire. He is Nigerian. But I’m sure he is not interested in giving away his money, lol.

Another point to note, “Femi” as a Nigerian will not be able to give away what he doesn’t have. Even if he has those millions to give away, South Africa is not his country to be giving away land or letting people immigrate there. The SA govt will have to be involved. Also, there is an existing feud between Black South Africans and other Blacks (especially Nigerians) have migrated to the country. Google ‘South Africa xenophobic attacks’.

Lastly, if an African American wants to go back to their roots, South Africa in NOT where they came from. It’s synonymous to telling a European American to go back to Asia! The Trans “Atlantic” Trade took place on a specific route, due to convenience. Countries that African Americans most likely came from are generally limited to countries in the West Africa facing the Atlantic Ocean.

My opinion, this is a scam, not sure how low an individual can get to actually conjure this up. That said, Africa is indeed the last frontier with A LOT of opportunities! I personally have a lot of African American friends that have settled there with skills from abroad. They are all doing very well with no plans of returning to America. Their only regret is that they didn’t go sooner. I’m sure there are experiences that are the complete opposite, so I don’t want to paint too rosy a picture.

It wouldn’t cost that much to relocate 40 Million plus African Americans. The 500 Million is more than enough to cover for every thing. Just think 40 Million Americans families (not individuals) would receive $1,000,000. each per family. so 40 from 500 leaves 460. In other words, there would be approximately 460 Million surplus to do the job. In fact, those 40 Million could receive even More and there would still be enough for everything else, which would include Housing, a private conveyance to get around. By the way, smart people with 1 million or more would invest that money in Real Estate, specifically Multidwelling Units with good cash flow in which case you can turn your Millions into Billions.
