NEW YORK (NEWSWATCH33) – Xiomara Rivera-Santiago, 29, of Washington Heights, has been arrested for the stabbing of her husband, Marcos Santiago over a dispute involving the popular mobile game Candy Crush.
According to reports, the couple got into a dispute over Candy Crush around 11 p.m. last night. Xiomara started an argument with Marcos over him ignoring her life requests. According to Odalys Santana, a neighbor, she heard Xiomara screaming at Marcos. “I was feeding my cat when I heard Xiomara yelling at her husband. I put my ear to the wall and heard her asking Marcos why hasn’t he responded to any of her life requests. Her husband ignored her for a while but then told her the game was stupid and to stop bothering him. The next thing I heard was Marcos crying for help, yelling, “This B**CH Stabbed me!!”. That’s when I called the police to come and see what was happening.
