ATLANTA (NEWSWATCH33) – Radric “Gucci Mane” Davis, 34, allegedly murdered his cellmate for attempting to rape him according to reports.
According to officials at the federal prison housing Gucci Mane, “Davis was lying down on the bottom bunk around 10:30 p.m. His cellmate, Rashad Irving, came down from the top bunk and yelled to Davis, “open up sweet cheeks”. Davis quickly turned around and punched Irving in the jaw. Both got into a scuffle, before Davis pulled out a handmade shank, stabbing Irving multiple times.”

Davis was immediately placed into solitary confinement while the prison investigates the situation. Irving was transported immediately to the prison infirmary where he was pronounced dead. Officials at the prison indicated that Irving was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen and genital area.
