MEXICO CITY (NEWSWATCH33) – Over the weekend, Joaquin �El Chapo� Guzman escaped from a Mexican federal prison. His escaped was well planned and successful, leaving Mexican authorities on a manhunt to find him. New reports are indicating El Chapo is seeking refuge in the United States.
According to Juan Ventura, reporter for El Publimetro Informador, El Chapo is offering $10 Million Dollars to any U.S. citizen who can successfully house him as he avoids being captured by authorities. A message was sent out through his drug cartel, Sinaloa Cartel to all affiliate cartels in Mexico and the United States.

“Es hora de que nos prohibimos juntos para proteger a El Chapo. Fuga de El Chapo de la c�rcel estaba en el primer paso en nuestro lugar como pueblo mexicano.”

Env�e este mensaje a todos los afiliados.”
The english translation reads:
“It’s time for us to ban together to protect El Chapo. It’s important for our people to remain strong through the American media disrespecting our people and culture. El Chapo’s escape from prison was on the first step to our rise as Mexican people.”
“The Sinaloa Cartel, with permission from El Chapo, is offering $15 Million Dollars to any Mexican-American willing to provide a safe haven for El Chapo. We will give $10 Million Dollars to any other American person willing to assist El Chapo, and $7 Million Dollars to anyone who can successfully get El Chapo across the Mexican-American border without detection. Send this message to everyone affiliated.”
Mexican officials have stated they believe El Chapo and the Sinaloa Cartel made this offer in response to the $3.8 Million Dollar reward offer by the Mexican Government for any information leading to the capture of El Chapo. With this amount of money be offered, Mexican and American officials fear that someone may try to take El Chapo up on his offer.
